The automotive market is moving towards electric, and leading the pack is none other than the brand that brought you the best-selling pickup trucks in the U.S: Ford. 

U.S. News & World Report announced its lineup of the best of the best vehicles and car brands for 2026, and Ford gained the inaugural title for Best Electric Vehicle Brand.

“The 2026 Best Vehicle Brand awards have been expanded to reflect the rapidly evolving automotive landscape, most notably the growing importance of electric vehicles,” John Vincent, senior automotive correspondent at U.S. News, told PR Newswire

The 2025 Ford Explorer started the year with a bold move… 

Cutting its star trim levels from the lineup.
